Celebrate Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar with the gardeners from Washington Avenue’s Hollenback Community Garden:
- Listen to a read-aloud of Very Hungry Caterpillar and other garden-themed picture books.
- Learn about the Hungry Caterpillar rain collector at the garden.
- Decorate flower pots and plant flower seeds.
- If weather permits, story and activities will take place next to the Clinton Hill Library’s own flower garden. Participants will be invited to a tour of the Hollenback Garden located down the block to see the rain collector.
