Hollenback’s first 2019 Meeting is Coming Up!

It looks like an early spring this year, so we are stepping out on the right foot and starting up the Hollenback Community Garden 2019 Season with our first meeting, to be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20th at the NYPL Clinton Hill Library branch, located on Washington Avenue between Greene and Lafayette.

We welcome returning members and anyone who is interested in gardening to join the meeting. We will introduce ourselves, let members know about the requirements (3 meetings, 3 workdays, 4 Open Hours, plus sliding scale dues $10-50), and give you all a calendar for upcoming meetings and workdays.

We will also take nominations for the open Steering Committee positions: one each in President, Operations. Membership, Events, and BQLT Rep. Some people have already expressed a strong interest in Ops and Membership; the other positions are open to all members who have already completed their first year of garden membership.

I can’t wait to see all of my gardeners so we can start growing!
